Well another near decade has gone by since I last posted and still no review on The Big Picture by Da T.R.U.T.H...cause I ain't got no time fo' dat. lol anyway I just wanted to let all you guys out there know about the new releases that just dropped HOT off the shelf...
From Lamp Mode:
Evangel-Expository Journey (Not real new but purchased since last post)
Evangel's first solo album, Expository Journey, is a biography of his life. He laces the tracks with lyrical fire and metaphors that will have you wanting more. He's more of a "New York" flavor MC with great wordplay.
Storiez-Shai Linne (Not Spankin' new but it is a fairly new release)
This is the new album from Shai Linne that is filled with (you guessed it) Stories. He takes you throug life as a Hebrew, the Passover, and a love story all over hot bass ridden tracks
Hazakim-Theophanies
"Theophanies" is Hazakim's sophomore album. This album uses a diverse Mid-Eastern style to fully display their love for Christ. This album tells biblical stories and urges you to dig deeper into the scriptures to show yourself approved. They begin by defining Theophanies (Close Encounters of a Divine Kind) and proceede to point out specific instances in the scriptures where this happens. They even get into a HOT 80's beat called...well, the "Eighties Mix" and they do it well! Anyway if you're looking for a good sound expository and nice Mid-Eastern beats made popular by Timbaland this is a good CD for you.
Jas Knight-The Psalter
Oh MY Gud-Ness! This album is waaaayyy more than I expected. Since I did like his flava from the free download and I thought his music was very intricate, well composed, and not overdone is was confident in this purchase. BUT MAN-O-MAN I was in for a treat from the intro! The drummer is stupid! The keys have a very Mint Condition feel and even some rifts and the vocal (lead) reminds me of the artist Bilal but he makes sure you understand that he is all about Jesus. He has guest appearances by Shai Linne, Da T.R.U.T.H., R. Swift and others. There are some songs where the female vocals get a little pitchy but they more than redeem themselves in the reprise. Two words GET IT!

Everyday Process-Outtadis World
EP takes you through the life of a believer being outcast because of their beliefs and repetitively embeds in your head to rejoice because this is not our home. This message is drilled home over enticing beats that draw you in a slap you upside the head! Even when its slow it goes hard! This is another must have for your Triple H library.
